of all days, today my camera's batteries die and i'm out of spares! but that is no excuse to not commemorate the event, so here are some camera phone pics instead! not the greatest, but definitely better than nothing!
my baby girl turned a whopping 2 years old today and i can't believe how the time has flown! shlee was so cute and decorated my room in celebration! i was bummed this morning because i'm in classes from 9-9 on thursdays and therefore didn't have time to plan anything or spend much time with her on her birthday, but shlee was so sweet to pick up the slack for me. i came home from class tonight and there were streamers, balloons, cards, toys, and treats all over! roxy loved it, i just know it! i'm getting her a cake from this dog bakery here in salt lake and so i'll post more pics when we actually celebrate this weekend, but for tonight she's enjoyed organic filet mignon dog treats and we've toasted her with a bottle of martinelli's. hooray for birthdays and my darling dog! :)

Wow--you a have dog bakery in Salt Lake that makes cakes? Sometimes I get Betsy the cute little homemade organic treats, but I don't think I could get a dog cake around here. Okay, well, be sure that your camera is back in action by the time you get the cake--I want to see this! And so does Betsy.
(Well, maybe I better not show her; she'd be jealous. She gets jealous so easily--when I ask my mom to rub my shoulders, Betsy comes running and starts barking at my mom--"No! Don't pet her! Pet me!" It cracks me up that my darling has such little social awareness! Oh, yeah--maybe it comes of being a dog--well, no matter. Dogs are basically the best ever--as I have no doubt that Roxy and Betsy already know!)
I'm pretty sure you blew more cash on Roxy's birthday than Brandon did on mine. Lucky damn dog.
PS - That pic of Roxy still has me roaring, because she looks like some pampered drug lord or something with the outfit and the furry jowl things on her face...! Oh my gosh I can't stop hard-core laughing at my desk at work! Okay I gotta stop commenting cuz I gotta look at it again...loves it!

You crack me up! Milo's (our dog) first birthday I tried to make him a cake, but it grossed me out too bad! And he got nothing for every one after! It was good seeing you today! You look great!
